Bike MS: Harmons Best Dam Bike Ride is Utah's largest cycling fund-raising event with 3,000 cyclists raising over $1.5 million annually. This two day event is based out of the Cache County Fairgrounds in Logan, Utah and the beautiful Cache Valley. There are three ways you can help with this event.
1) You can Ride with US! We would love to have you join our team! Our team name is Something2Give. Though there are a few experienced riders on our team, most of us are amateurs. Each cyclist makes a commitment to raise at least $250 in do
nations to support the National MS Society. You can choose to ride 40, 75, or 100 miles and there are plenty of "rest areas" along the route if you need them. In addition to raising money for this great cause, some of our team members will be using this event as an incentive to "get back in shape." We will organize a few training rides leading up to the event to help us get ready for the ride. We are also looking into getting jerseys with our team name on them. I've done this ride once before and it was a blast!2) You can Make a Donation! Since each cyclist makes a commitment to raise at least $250 in donations, your contribution would be greatly appreciated. A small donation from you, added to the donations of others, will help our team meet our fund raising goals.
3) You can Volunteer! Bike MS requires more than 400 volunteers to pull off this event. Examples of 2011 Bike MS Volunteer Positions include: Packet Stuffing, Volunteer Check-In, Information Station, Bike Lock-Up, Cheerleaders, Décor, Check-In, Prize Runners, Greeters, Solutions, Bib Bling, Food, Start Line, and Pool Party. That sounds like a party in itself!
Come join us in raising funds for the National MS Society! We'd love to see you there!
